User Interface Architecture Design

In no more than 1500 words describe the architectural components required to support the scenario described in you first assignment. The description does not need to be ultra-detailed but should cover the following issues:

• Distribution of knowledge throughout the system. i.e. what objects know what about: the interaction, the application data, the user, the context, …
• Which parts of the system manage the switching between different modalities … is this done automatically, semi-automatically, manually, or some combination of ways?
• What scope is there – if any – for future changes to be made to the system?
• What features of the architecture would make such changes hard/easy to implement?

If preferred the scenario described in the class on 29^th September can be used.

This assignment is worth 5% of the total course work.

Submissions will be accepted electronically via email (murray.crease@nrc-cnrc.gc.ca) or as paper hand-ins. Submissions will not be accepted after the class on October 27^th and will be returned in the class on November 1^st.
